What's New in 2016!

Youth Judging Workshop & Class - Sign up for the Youth Judging Workshop and be prepared for the Youth Judging Class!  The Youth Judging Class will have both an ALSA class and a 4-H Class.  The ALSA class will be as per the ALSA rules.  The 4-H Class will be more of an educational class for all age levels.  Easy directions will be given for each area that you judge - halter, showmanship, and obstacle.  No age group will give oral reasons in the 4-H class.  Note:  Participation in a Youth Judging Class is a requirement to be eligible for the Jamboree Versatility Champion.  Age divisions, awards given.  Prepare for the Class by attending the Youth Judging Workshop on Friday and/or studying the info in the ALSA Youth Judging Handbook at http://www.alsashow.net/youthjudging.pdf.

Skillathon Challenge - The fun Skillathon has a variety of hands-on fun challenges for you this year.  Brush up on the items you need to care for your llamas on your farm and also brush up on the birthing of crias.  Go to the Skillathon in between your classes on Saturday morning, 9:00 - 12:00 p.m.  Prizes!

Scavenger Collage Challenge - Form a team and set out to solve the scavenger challenge.  Take photos, put together a collage online, and get your votes!  Prizes awarded!

Photo Show - Enter your favorite lama photos!  Two NEW categories for each age division - enter both if you'd like.  Prizes!  Read details carefully.  Best of Show this year wins a Nikon D70 DSLR Camera!
It could be you!  But only if you enter the Photo Show!

Remember, your weekend participant fee of only $50 includes dinner on both Friday & Saturday nights and breakfast.  There will be a slight additional charge for Friday night meal for accompanying family members.
